Focused primarily on presentation drawings and schematic design, while demonstrating a willingness to contribute to a variety of projects simultaneously.
Produced a drawing that was published by the Globe & Mail for the Ciot booth at the 2008 Interior Design Show.
Designed and coordinated the development of parking layouts for a large residential development in North York.
Created schematic design proposals for several medium-density residential projects.

Worked on a wide variety of projects, from residential renovations to a range of different public projects. In addition, due to the smaller nature of the projects and the length of my internship, I had more invested in each project.
-Built site models for design development, typically for larger projects- for example, a 16-story hotel and a garage for the department of sanitation;
-Created a short film to fundraise for a school for autistic individuals;
-Prepared schematic design documents and surveyed for small residential work;
-Prepared construction drawings for the Hudson River Park project and smaller public projects.

Contributed to the design development of two high-profile institutional projects, the new School of Contemporary Arts and the Vancouver East Cultural Centre.
-Built models for presentation and the city design panel;
-Designed and refined architectural elements through models and 3D;
-Assembled design development sets for the School of Contemporary Arts.
In addition, I worked on various projects fairly independently, including the creation of a development permit set for an apartment lobby renovation in Burnaby, BC.

Gained valuable experience with the LEED system, large-scale, government-funded projects, and fast-track construction while working on the 65 000 m2 Manitoba Hydro project in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.
-Built and updated models for design development;
-Prepared presentation drawings using Revit and Photoshop;
-Drew AutoCAD details for the curtainwall tender package.
